deleye 150x150 Delhi Eye, Water park & Jumping Jack – Rides at kalandi kunj park, Okhla
iZara Entertainment launches 18 storey high giant wheel- Delhieye (160 feet high) with magnificent view of Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Akshardham & Lotus Temple amongst many others. Build in 3.7 acres it is 50 metres in height.  It will have 36 air conditioned cabins with LCD screens, comfortable seats & in case it feels scary it also has a special help button. The45mt diameter wheel has 36 cabins in all with a seating capacity of 288 persons. There would be VIP lounges and cabins as well. It was to be inaugurated by Shahrukh Khan himself on 27th Sept 2010 but due to traffic blockage (as the organizers promised 500 free passes) the police had to intervene and stop the event. According to the police there was no permission granted for the same. This event later took place in a Hotel.  Mallaika Arora was also to perform on the event.

Apart from being the highest  Giant wheel in Delhi, Kalandi kunj park would also have Water park(12 slides), Jumpin Jack, Parachute Towers, Striking Cars, Fizbee, Rangers etc (all amusement rides).

Cost/Price – the ride would cost Rs. 250 for a 20min ride & would be open for day & night view of the city. There is a Kid Zone as well with nominal entry of Rs 25 per kid.

Tickets can be booked on www.delhirides.in & www.delhieye.net

Safe to say Delhieye  is India’s answer to the London Eye. Game for a ride ??

Well also to add the Ferris wheel in Singapore (Singapore Flyer) is the tallest 165 m (541 ft), next comes the London eye (Millennium wheel) 135-metre (443 ft) tall. Delhieye doesn’t feature in the top 30 when it comes to size & height but still we have a new attraction in city. We have something different to do apart from roaming purposelessly in malls & its a must visit once for every NCRiet.
