PRTC, Goldline, Punbus, Libra – AC Volvo bus service from New Delhi to Ludhiana

After Extensive search on the Internet & repeated Inquires at ISBT, New Delhi I still found nothing on PRTC – AC Volvo. Since I am a frequent traveler to Ludhiana, I have traveled almost at every time so i wanted to share PRTC- AC Volvo bus timings. There are three Kinds of Busses Available from ISBT, New Delhi for Ludhiana:

1) PRTC - AC Volvo

2) Punbus AC Bus service

3) LIBRA AC bus service

Timings (Time table) for PRTC AC Volvo (PRTC Goldline) are :

Morning - 05:30 AM, 08:30 AM, 11:30 AM

Evening - 05:30 PM

Night - 11:30 PM

Fare for PRTC Goldline is Rs. 440 & starts from terminal 13. The Night bus usually starts early because it gets filled very early & quickly so you are advised to reach early.

Punbus AC Bus service is Available (Timings) after every half an hour (30mins) starting at 06:00 AM in the morning. This is normal bus Punjab Roadways Bus with AC & decent Comfort. The Fare for Punbus AC Bus is Rs. 230 & starts from terminal 13. Punbus AC bus Tickets can be booked from www.busindia.com by creating a simple account there. Finally travelling to Ludhiana is easy now.

Libra Bus Service is a Pvt AC bus service for Delhi to Ludhiana. This is a Daily night AC Bus service for Ludhiana & starts at 10:30 PM every night from Lal Quila, Chandni Chownk. The Fare For this is Rs. 350. Phone booking is also available, call at 01123866857.

PRTC has no Online Ticket booking facility. The phone number available on the net are also not correct so booking is on first come first server basis.

There are a few AC buses Available from Delhi airport for Ludhiana as well like Indo-Canadian & AC tempo Travelers but those are very expensive as they are for NRI’s & Mini-buses are not very Comfortable. The Fare starts from Rs. 700 & goes to Rs.1100.
